High-class property, has extremely friendly and very attentive staff who made us remember what good service is. Newly decorated rooms and fashionable with a garden view, nice decor plus balcony. Location - stunning, just next door to the Elements restaurant on the Saturday evening.

Very luxurious and beautiful place to stay.

From the moment we arrived at Aldwark Manor it was a pleasure. The staff were faultless in every area of the Hotel willing to help and above all so friendly which is often hard to find. The room was spacious comfortable and clean. The location was fablous. Overall one of the best Hotels we have stayed at and we do travel a lot on buisness but this one beats them all. I would love to return and experience a spa break there with my daughters.

The location of this place near the golf course and the restaurant is wonderful.

The place has a lot of character, but also offers modern day facilities in terms of the leisure /spa /gym options Staff are clearly well trained /supported and that shows in the high level of customer service that is given Well worth a re-visit

The location was stunning and amazing. the restaurant was excellent. - the room was fashionable. - the continental breakfast was large. - We enjoyed very efficient service. - Everything was modern. - We would absolutely stay here again.

Hotel is in a quiet countryside location with a swimming pool and leisure facilities.

We have stopped here a few times over the last couple of years and always enjoyed our stays. This time was not as good. We arrived in the evening in the dark. Were allocated room 114 on entering the room found a used towel in the wardrobe and a tub of wood glue in the bathroom. The room window looked striaght into a brick wall. As we were staying a night and it was late we did not ask for a change of room. The hotel was not busy so could not understand us being allocated such a room. All previous stays have had a window looking onto the golf course. We had a evening meal booked in the restaurant. The chairs on our table and also at breakfast on a different table all had stain marks. The curtains by the breakfast bar were all fraid. We both ordered venision and asked for it to be cooked through. We received both meal rare. They were taken back and returned pink not to our liking. After the meal no bar area was open for a drink. On leaving the hotel in the morning were not asked by the receptionist if everything had been ok. Just wanted me to settle the account and leave.

Peaceful location in a beautiful area with a market and shops close by. the breakfast at the restaurant was tasty, and I really enjoyed the dishes they served. 🌳

From checking in to departure the hotel staff were very friendly including the pool staff. The food was good and well presented. The hotel is set in lovely well maintained grounds but due to the rain the golf course was close. It was ideally located for both York and surrounding areas and we would definately stay there again.

Friendlyness of staff. Comfort and especially the restaurant it was really nice. All in all a very good weekend and the weather was kind the sun shone for the bride.

The restaurant offers tasty freshly cooked dishes and has a decent size, a balcony, a kitchen, and an iron available.

The restaurtant shut too early for my purposes - I had an evening meeting and was unable to dine at the hotel
